Dim Flat Panel (Dell1702FP)
I purchased a Dell 1702FP Monitor in 2002 and still use it, although the Desktop computer that accompanied it, was retired 3 years ago. The monitor has started to get dim and the it's white color has shifted to an off white beige. I have the brightness control on 100%. My assumption is the backlights are the problem and need to be replaced. Has anyone out there performed such a deed and if so how big of a job is it - before I tear in to it. All help is highly appreciated.
