I have the same issue. When I use the LAN connection on the U3412WE (connected to my laptop via USB-C), the network connection sporadically drops. If I use the built-in Ethernet connection of my laptop, there are no interruptions.

Note: other functions that go via the same USB-C connection  (such as the display and sound)  are not affected, so it's not a generic USB-C disconnection.
