Hi, when can we expect the DDM software for MacOS with this monitor? PBP is useless without it and it really isn't clear this feature is unavailable on the product page. I would prefer not to return this monitor!
DDM for macOS compatibility has nothing to do with the fact that we released a U4919DW firmware update that can be run through macOS. As of March 22, 2022, there are no plans to add the U4919DW to the DDM for macOS supported monitor list.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate you confirming that Dell will not be releasing DDM for this monitor on MacOS, many users will find this disappointing.
If Dell are not going to make DDM available to this monitor on MacOS I think you should update the product page to make it abundantly clear to people purchasing this display of it's poor support and compatibility with this operating system. I have multiple Dell displays of various sizes and this does not match the experience I have had with them.
The decision to purchase a monitor is not made by reading a driver page or a support forum. These services come after the transaction has been made.
Chris - Your repeated response to inquiries about U4919DW, DDM for macOS has been to provide a link showing that Dell "never offered any macOS driver, firmware or DDM. So no, there will not be a DDN for macOS for the U4919DW." This is no longer true.
What is needed here is for an engineer or product manager to speak on why one of the premier products in this line doesn't have full mac support and if it comes down to the need to create firmware for this specific model, whether a roadmap can be provided for support.
U4021QW received this support in February of 2022, so it does look like maybe they're getting around to it.
The application first came out in September and then was updated in December and again in February. I would hope based on this pace we could see support for the U49 happen in the next couple of months.
I have been waiting a long time for the U4919DW DDM, too long. We need to know where this is in Dell's roadmap, each user paid a lot of money for these monitors and need them to work with DDM. The documentation, when researching the monitor, did not indicate that it does not work with DDM. What gives? When can we expect this functionality?
I was excited to install DDM but was told by the software to attach a supported monitor. I tried, I was able to update the firmware, which worked, but when I installed DDM its a no go.
