voltage conversion US-Spain

I´m living in Spain and just shipped my pc and flatscreen from the US.  I changed the power on the computer to 230 but am not sure how to safely hook up my monitor.  Does the AC adapter that it came with do that already or do I need a voltage converter?  I´m not too familiar with computers so if someone could explain in painfully clear terms Í´d greatly appreciate it.
Oh, and I´ve set up DSL here- do I need to be concerned about that or can I just plug the cable into my computer?
Thanks..

The switch on the back of the machine is only for that system...i.e., the power supply in the computer. The monitor will need some other way to setup the voltage input.

Can you reply here with whatever is written on that adapter?..and did the adapter come with the monitor?..what does the manual say?

I am not familiar with DSL..and do not know how it connects. I suspect it is an internal modem?...if so, what do you need to connect the modem to? Once you have the computer setup to use the proper AC voltage (120 vs 230)...everything else is the same as if it were in this country...all of the voltage conversion is done in the computers PSU, and from there on its all the same as it is here in the US.

The AC adapter came with the monitor and says:

    model:ADP-90FB Rev.B
    PA-9 family
    P/N R0423
    V85

That is all code to me but hopefully somewhere in there is the information you asked me for.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Hmmm, I am not sure what is going on here. I assume you have a normal PC, not a laptop...right?

That adapter you have comes up as an adapter for a Dell Latitude Laptop.

    Searched For:  ADP-90FB

      DELL
AC Adapter for Dell Latitude C540, C640, and C840

If these links do not take you to the area showing the adapters, do a search for ADP-90FB at the top of this page.

I also searched for the  P/N R0423 (piece number) that also to me to a listing of many parts wit that piece number, including the Latitude laptop adapter.

I get the feeling that what you have is of no value to you unless you also own a Dell Latitude Laptop.

I don't believe that is the correct adapter for converting the AC voltage in Spain (230 volts) to the 120 volts AC we use in the US. You may need to get some local assistance there where you are to obtain the correct adapter.
