Client Backup Configuration
I am trying to setup a client backup configuration using the New Client Wizard but on reaching the "Specify the Client Backup Options" and when i click Next, i cannot continue to the option for "Select Files to Backup". The Client is a Solaris Client. Kindly help i have attached a screenshot.
Hi tonywanjohi, to add to what bingo has mentioned, in case you have already used this client under a different backup server then clearing the nsladb might help.

To create a new client not using the wizard NW only needs the hostname to resolve.
So if there is no client software installed on the Solaris box and the client daemon (nsrexecd) is not running yet, then NW will not allow you to select the save sets via this method.
Another possibility is that the software is to old and it will not support this feature yet.
