Making full backups with two network cards

Hi people,

I have a NetWorker Server with 7.4 SP1 and two IP addresses (with the independent NICs) of the backup LAN: 10.8.8.8 and 10.8.8.7...

I configured ten clients with the 10.8.8.8 (in the /etc/hosts) and all the backup traffic it's fine, but when I configured one client with the 10.8.8.7 (also in the /etc/hosts filename) the server could not make the backup, I receive the following message:

fileserver:All logfile has no output
* : Connection refused

How can I solve this matter? It is possible to make this configuration?

Thank you very much...

    2 NICs within the same subnet and independent? Why? Are you using server network interface setting within clients or just storage node? Did you define servers file on clients for just one IP?

    Hi ,

    Make sure that you have entered 10.8.8.7 IP in the server network interface of this client and also put the correct alias name in the alias filed. Do the changes in the client /etc/hosts file so that it will only connect to server through 10.8.8.7 IP only . Please ensure this by pinging the server and client both with the hostname and also with the IP address. It may resolve the case
