Do you see tapes via nsrjb command?

You re-installed only NMC or did configure the library again? In other words, something else were re-installed/changed or only the NMC?

Both NetWorker and NMC have been uninstalled and installed and configured a few times. The first install and configuration of both applications was successful. In all subsequent installs of NMC, the tape library is not recognized, the only problem with the configuration of either application.

Any command line nsrjb command produces this message "nsrjb: RAP error: No jukeboxes are currently usable."

During the scan of the i500 jukebox in the NMC device configuration wizard, these messages appear in the log:

1. No Configured libraries detected on storage node name. Library 'ADIC@0.3.1 'found on Storage node' storage node name. is not auto-configurable because no Serial number is returned.

2. Found the new Standard SCSI Jukebox ADIC@0.3.1. (SCSI Port 0 Target 3 LUN1>) but there is a problem communicating with this library (ADIC@0.3.1.) It may be claimed by another driver.

The Device manager under Medium Changers lists 'ADIC Scalar i500 Tape Library' as the driver and says that the device is working properly.

1st - stop uninstalling and installing software - that doesn't make sense at all.

2nd, your library is either not configured correctly or unavailable and this is why NMC doesn't show you a thing; if nsrjb can't get answer NMC won't either for sure.

3rd, I would suggest to use jbconfig to configure library.

4th, check if you can communicate with sjirdtag.

5th, perhaps this should 1st, have you disabled RSM? And do not use any driver for library (driver is only required for tape devices)
