MS SQL NMM Version details

Hi All,

I have newly build MS SQL instance in my windows 2012 R2 machine.

Networker Server - NetWorker 8.1.1.9.Build.360

Kindly suggest which version of Client agent & NMM agent I can go for to take backup of SQL instance.

I dont see the SQL 2012 R2 on the compatibility guide yet.

Try latest and greatest - 8.2.1.6 (both NW client and NMM).

Reboot mandatory after NMM installation?

No, you should not see reboot request (I know reboot may be required if using GLR function, but this is only - as option - applicable to Exchange and not SQL so in theory you would not select it and thus not have to reboot).
