Networker 7.5 sp1 and VCB

Hello All!

I'm trying to set up vmware consolidated backup with a networker server 7.5.1.
My first question is, is the auto-discovery function supported for virtual center 4?
If entering the IP or FQDN and giving the right login credentials discovery starts, but after a few seconds fails.

    Installing the Networker client on the virtual center server solved the problem.

    Hello,

    i have read in the past at the vmware-forums, the Windows 2008 x64 and vCenter x64 doesn't work with the autodiscovery of networker. Only the x86 (32bit) version works.

    val, what is your vsphere and Networker running on? I have the same problem, and the client is installed.

    vCenter = Windows 2008 x64
    Networker = Windows 2008 x64

    Auto Discovery = FAILS

    Thank you, samadm!!

    Pointed the command host only to a 32 bit client and it works, all the VMs are discovered.
