NMM 3.0 x86 and Windows 2003
Has anyone tried this combination? We happen to have exotic combination where I have SQL server 2005 SP4 running on Windows 2003. We are in process of migrating all our SQL stuff from NMSQL to NMM 3.0 (because it is real module unlike previous versions) and we use VDI. And while installing NW 8.1 on win2k3 client is no big deal (and officially supported), same does not apply to NMM 3.0 - at least according to software compatibility guide and installation guide. I wonder if this is because it was simply not tested or there is a reason why this combo doesn't work? And most importantly, has anyone had this before and what would be their experience?
Are you sure x86 is not supported? Because in download area I do see x86 (since you can have win2k8 which is x86).
Indeed, my question is directed towards those tried it given that it may work even if it is not listed as verified by product engineering.

Hi Hrvoje,
This is not supported, only x64 platforms are supported.
Also Windows 2003 is not supported with NMM 3.0, only Windows 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 x64.
I haven't tried this combination, but as you know, "not supported" doesn't mean "it doesn't work"
