Wildcards - Linux Savesets

I saw that EMC does not officially support wildcards in savesets but according to ID esg58321 they should work just fine. I tried to backup linux savesets using wildcard first time and its failing. Any idea/suggestions?

/etc/aliases* :No such file or directory
/etc/cron.* :No such file or directory

Thanks in advance.

These savesets were configured in a scheduled backup, I did not run any command to initiate the backup.

Would you please post the full syntax of the command you typed?

The link you provided says that wildcards can't be used with scheduled backup:

"Cause: Wildcard characters can only be used when performing a manual backup with the save command."

The wildcards can only be used from command line in a manual backup not in the save set list of a scheduled backup (as per esg58321).
