Dell Switch N4032F connection issue

Team,

I have Dell SW N4032F, all of my servers stopped working suddenly and we checked everything and all is clear, once I change the IP of the server, the connection is working fine, that happened with different switches before and the issue was corrupted arp table and the solution was to reboot. But this is a main sw that I can't reboot. Also the server is a host and all the VMs inside it are working fine and able to access the internet. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

If you can’t reboot you could try just shutting down the port and bringing it back up.

    Hi Josh,

Thanks for the reply, but do you know what's causing this behavior so we can fix it?

No not specifically, it could be something in the environment causing collisions or dropped packets. Since it is has happened on multiple switches it is probably not hardware. I would try updating the firmware to the latest version.

I rebooted the switch and it's working fine now. Thanks
