s3148 cpu usage
Hi
I'm testing s3148 stack of 3 switchs in lab with only 3 ports connected.
I get a process bcmCNTR.0 consuming 25% of cpu in all three switchs of the stack.
To me seems a high value but i have no information on manuals about this issue.
How can i trubleshoot the issue of high bcmCNTR.0 process CPU usage?
Regards.

Hi Cyborg2021,
this is normal behavior. bcmCNTR.0 is a system process running under "sysdlp".
You can check the overall CPU load with "show processes cpu management-unit".
Our S3100 switches have a relatively small dual core ARM CPU to run the OS
as opposed to our OpenNetworking-capable switches with bigger x86 CPUs.

Tim
