Bluetooth Shortcut on Desktop

I have an inspiron 9300 with the dell internal 350 bluetooth wifi card.  For some reason I cannot get rid of the bluetooth icon from my desktop (i am not talking about the tray icon..)..

Every time I delete it, it reinstalls the icon when I restart the laptop.  There is a blank spot in the space where the bluetooth shortcut is, then when the PC is almost done booting up, the shortcut reappears, every time...

Any clues?

Any help is of course much appreciated...
M

If you are not using any Bluetooth device then if you right click of the Bluetooth icon in systray and select to turn it off then the icon on the desktop will disappear. It will reappear again if you power on your Bluetooth card again.

Thanks for the tips.  In installed the latest BT drivers from dell and it seems to have fixed the problem.

    Thanks again

This applies to Widcomm BT drivers. I'm not sure if it will work for the Toshiba BT drivers.

    Go to this link.
