No wireless connection
Hi
I have a Dell Inspiron N5050, i bought the laptop in August and up until today i have been able to use the internet wirelessly fine. I can connect to the internet using the ethnet cable and have pressed FN F2 to turn the wireless on but it turns on and turns off again. I have gone through loads of forums and downloaded drivers but nothing seems to work.
Please help
Amie

Reply Amie,
Places to look to see if your Connection is enabled
I do not see a wireless adapter listed.
If you're under warranty, contact Dell Tech Support. If you're not under warranty, please post back.

Amie,
What virus program and firewall are you using?
Make and model of your wireless router and the type of security you're using? What channel?
Can you run Finding System Information REMOVE YOUR PRODUCT ID and REGISTERED OWNER, if using XP, run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.
