Your ipconfig output does not show the presence of a wireless network adapter.  Did you post the complete output?

    hi,

the mediastate...media disconnected for ethernet adapter is normal. the reason you have such message on ipconffig because your network cable for wired connection is not connected which is normal because your using wireless connection. i've noticed in your ipconfig that you have no valid ip address. therefore, you are not connected to you access point or wireless server. with this, you have to re-connnect. go to the wireless connection icon on the lower right hand side of your screen and right click it. then, choose the view available network. and look for your network name and reconnect.  hope this will sove your problem.....

To get to a web page (other than typing in a TCP/IP address directly) you must have DNS working.
    Your report:
    DNS Server.............:192.168.2.1
    205.171.3.65
Generally where I work we make the DNS automatic and only in exceptional circumstances do we have to hard-code DNS TCP/IP addresses (such as above).
Try making both your DHCP and your DNS automatic.
The other thing I sometimes have to do is 'Add' gateway and type the literal router address TCP/IP (in 'Advanced')
If all of that in combination still does not work, there are other things that sometimes make a difference for me.
"Open" versus "Shared" (if it is one, try the other).
Does this connection use WEP or any other type of security?
If there is WEP and you do not enter the key then obviously it is not connected even if it says it is. Same if the key is incorrect, which could be something as simple as have letters not typed in upper case, in some systems.
Beyond that, there is Fragmentation Threshold. In one or two cases, I have found a system will work when I decrease that number to something like 2047 from 2346, 2347, or 2348 (whatever). There is also a second Threshold that can be reduced similarly, to something like 2048 (rather than 23xx)
