Problems running SSH on (dual core) latitude D820
Previously I reported that bitkeeper crashes due to SSH client problems.
It seems like a more general problem with ssh running on a dual core latitude.
This is the version I am using:
OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 0.9.8a 11 Oct 2005
usage: ssh [-1246AaCfgkMNnqsTtVvXxY] [-b bind_address] [-c cipher_spec]
OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 0.9.8a 11 Oct 2005
usage: ssh [-1246AaCfgkMNnqsTtVvXxY] [-b bind_address] [-c cipher_spec]
It crashes when invoked by higher-level tools such as scp or sftp to transfer large amounts of data.
I have just started to see others with dual core latitudes report similar problems.
Any suggestions?

This belongs to Wave System's EMBASSY Trust Suite that manages the TPM.
Uninstalling EMBASSY fixed the problem (uninstall didn't go cleanly though).
So much for using my fingerprint reader....
