Remotely Enable Wireless NICS

When we first deployed out X200, D600, D610, D410 series we deployed them with the wireless cards disabled for security purposes. Now that we are getting up to speed with technology and recent firewall improvements we would like to enable these wireless cards. Instead of having our desktop support people running to each machine to enable the device can anyone recommend a way for us to do this remotely? I have tried to capture registry settings when turning it on, tried to find some sms push but no avail as of yet. All clients are running XP Pro SP2 on a domain environment.

yeah that is our last resort. We have several hundred machine to do, and not all are in the local office. So any way remote like a script or registry key would be our best option.
