Trouble Connecting Wirelessly After SP2

I seem to have trouble connecting to my wireless network since upgrading to SP2.  If I reset my Wireless Access Point then windows connects.  I have an Inspiron 600m with the Intel 2300 B/G card.  Any ideas?  Also, what would be the latest driver for my card?  I believe I already have it but just wondered what the newest one was dated.

    Sigh, I wish my problem was as easy as yours. Update the firmware on the router and try changing channels on the router so it doesn't interfere with other wireless devices.

    The BEAUTIFUL problem that I'm having after taking the plunge to SP2 is that it decided to roll back all my drivers. So, now I'm back to my original drivers that make my computer bluescreen. Now, I'm trying to re-install the latest 2200 (not 2300) drivers and the process is taking up full CPU and not doing anything. It's lovely. Thank you microsoft for yet another fine product.

    Bummer!....Just wondering why it did that....After you get your drivers updated try WinDriversBackup and you can create a drivers file for storage on a disk. Good utility.

    Are you using Norton for security?

    I had the same problem after installing SP2. Turns out Norton was blocking access when using Explorer.

    Uninstalled Norton, used Microsoft's Firewall and McAfee for virus detection.

    **BUT - I was direct connect - not wireless, so I may be leading you down the wrong path...

    Can you connect using a cable?  If not, try it again in Safe Mode With Networking.
