We are installing a new Avaya IP Office IP phone system. We purchased new HP POE switches for the wiring closets, and want to use our existing PowerConnect 6224F at in the data center.

I've added a VLAN 20 on all the HP switches, set as tagged on all ports. I've set up the Voice VLAN on the 6224F to use ID 20 on all ports.

When we plug a phone into the same switch that the Avaya server is on, the phone gets its IP address from the Avaya DHCP server and downloads its setup. However, when we plug a phone into another switch that is connected to THAT switch through the 6224F, we're not getting a connection.

Any kind of checklist for things I need to verify in my 6224 config? LLDP? Any suggestions?
