You probably lost the drivers when you repartitioned and reloaded XP. If you have the cd for your wireless card then just reinstall the drivers if not you can get them online if you have another computer connected to the internet.
Since the operating system was re-installed did you remember to go to drivers and downloads, enter your service tag(DO NOT POST SERVICE TAG here or your post will get deleted, since it contains your personal information), and install these drivers in this order.
Desktop System Software or Notebook System Software Chipset or SMBus driver Processor Driver (if applicable) Video Audio (sound) Input Drivers (keyboard/mouse) Modem Network Card
I reloaded my drivers from the Dell disk that came with my computer. Since my computer is pretty new, I figured they were still up-to-date. However, I did not enter them in the correct order. Can I reload them now to fix this or is there something else I have to do?
Give it a try, it can't hurt. After you install everything, restart your computer and then look at the device manager and tell us if you have any yellow exclaimination marks.
