Web Server Unavailable

I got a WIN32RPCDSBOT.A (Ithink that's it) virus .  Finally finally got rid of it, but no longer can access the web (aol dial up or roadrunner).  Is my only resolution to reinstall WIndows XP Home?  I have tried repair re-install and it does not fix it.

    Try running downloading and running winsockfix for Windows XP from the Here and if that doesn't work try lspfix from Here.

    Thanks for the reply.  I am printing and saving.  However,  did it get working. I removed a suspicous prgram from Add/Remove Programs, renewed my IP address (again), ran the network diagnostics driver from the Dell Resource CD selecting  "repair" option, rebooted ,and it's working.  Not sure which of those actually did it.
