Wireless compatibility
I have a Dell Truemobile 1184 Wireless broadband router which says it's 802.11b. I'm using it to connect one laptop to a wired ethernet LAN with 7 PCs. I have another employee who wants to connect his new Sony computer that has an integrated IEEE 802.11g Bus/Interface - mini PCI Radio frequency band: 2.4GHz. Is this compatible with my wireless router?
If it's not compatible, is there anything I can do to make it work on my LAN?

It should be compatible as 802.11g is backward compatible wtih 802.11b. g is faster than b, so the card will not run at its full speed when it shifts to connect to the b router.
