wireless network

hi i have a 510m, i cannot seem to pick up any wireless networks, internet is fine thru my router but no by wireless....... any ideas

Is the wireless card actually turned on?
The on/off switch for the wireless card is obtained by pressing the Fn+F2 keys.

yep its def on, just tried to connect to the network at the hotel i am in and no joy, it was working 4 2 weeks then just stopped.....
