Dell Optiplex 790 MT stock condition. I've read that my tower does not support the 2600k 3.6 chip, but will will run a 2600 chip?? I know we talked about it in my last post but I wanted a clean post lol. My problem is I bought the i7 2600k chip, updated my bios and tried to install 2600k chip and my pc did turn on and acted like it was booting up but I had no video. Then it just sat there idleing. Will my stock 790 MT run the i7 2600 chip?
