Hey guys my workspace is running r200 blades conneected up to PCoIP units that are located in a seperate space for our employees to use. More often than not we recieve trouble calls showing a "No source signal" on their monitors. Now when I unplug the HDMI connection and swap to a different or port it comes back up, but goes out once again. Also if I troubleshoot one blade, the one below or above tends to go out. I was thinking that if it was possible that the video cards in the blades were too loose, because when I open the server up I see that cards tend to move easily.
Just to make sure I understand this; you're having a problem using a not-by-Dell supported expansion card and connecting it to a non-Dell PCoIP solution?
My first thought would be to remove the videocard (that gives you the HDMI output) and use the onboard/integrated video solution and then look for a PCoIP solution that supports VGA.
The expansion card is dell supported, but the PCoIP is a non Dell. I will try out your suggestion on removing the video card, and using the integrated video. I thought about doing that, but wasn't sure.
