Changing RAID Controller of 2950 Server
I have a server with RAID-1 Configured I just want to know how can I change the current installed RAID Card with new one without destroy my existing RAID Array.
No Events found!

Power off, unplug, replace controller, plug in, power on. Boot to the CTRL-R utility. If it recognizes the array as online and optimal, then you are done. If it does not and lists a "foreign configuration", then you need to IMPORT the foreign configuration before proceeding.

Server currently install with PERC 5/i and the same controller I have. which I want to replace.

Thanks for above solution.. One more question arise in my mind ... that what should my immediate action if i found that my PERC got faulty.

Hi Prasad,
You can replace the PERC Controller immediately to resolve a controller hardware fault straight away if you already have a spare.
