PowerEdge T330 not detecting HDD

Hello,

I am using a T330 server, and I want to swap out the hard drive in it with another hard drive that has the operating system and drivers I need for a NIC that I need to use. When I plug in the new HDD, nothing comes up in the boot menu to boot from the new HDD.

Does the server only support certain HDDs, or are there any settings I need to enable?

Thanks.

I resolved this issue. Had to boot the server in legacy mode to see the HDD

Please enter to "System set up" by pressing F2 key to find "boot settings" option. In this section there is an option to choose between "legacy boot" and "UEFI boot".
