TL1000 and Backup Exec 16

Hi Guys,

Seeking your expertise in your best practice in setting up TL1000 with a server using backup exec 16.

Hello rmslive,

You will want to use the install_nonexclusive drivers when for your TL1000. Here is a link to the drivers just in case you need them. Once that is done then you will want to make sure that you see both the medium changer and you drive in you OS. Once that is done then Backup Exec should see and be able to use your TL1000 without any issues.

Hi Sam,

Where is the link?

I've search the driver in dell website but to no avail. I can't find it.

We are using WS2008R2 64bit. We already installed the external hba adapter driver but to no avail. the server still can't detect the TL1000. so we are hoping to install the drivers of the TL1000 to isolate the issue.
