Could be the printer cord has gone bad. Is it USB or parallel? Look in control panel and make sure there is only one printer listed and it is the default printer. You said you deleted the printer and reinstalled the software. Hopefully you meant uninstalled the printer software and deleted all printers listed in control panel under printers? If not and if you are certain the printer cable is good then uninstall the printer software and for any printer that may have ever been listed if any. Make sure no printers are listed under printers. Then follow the software installation for the printer EXACTLY. Means do not connect the printer until asked for. But this is the best way and when you install the software it will check communication and tell you if it is not. If that happens then I lean toward the printer cable or if USB a USB driver. Have you installed anything else that uses USB ports?
I feel real stupid... but I finally figured it out after reinstalling printer software so many times.....
I should of checked this before! :smileysurprised:
I went into properties and somehow it retreived itself to "
SPOOL PRINT DOCUMENTS SO PROGRAM FINISHES PRINTING FASTER" so I changed it to
"PRINT DIRECTLY TO PRINTER" and it solved the mistery!
