Hi there,

     I'll explain better for you, because it does really work.  There are two blue arrows on the case, below each of those is a black tab.  If you use a small flat blade and put it between the tab and the case, they pry up rather easily.  Then while holding the case together, use your flat blade between the right edge of the top white gear and the case, to pry the gear from the hole the shaft sits in. Then the  whole container portion of the case will be in your hand.  You may want to do this over paper towels or the garbage can, as if it's packed; you  could have quite a mess.  Also, be careful to hold the gears against the case where they sit; since they are connected to a wire stirrer inside and it can be pulled away from case and then will need to be lined back up.  One new thing to note:  On one that we are testing non-dell toner on; the transfer roller and drum cartridge were so packed with heavy toner that they felt like rocks when I pulled them out of the machine.  Good-luck:)
