Printer 922 -paper jam

I turn my printer on and it comes up with an error saying there is a paper jam

there is no paper in the printer ?

I have:

1)uninstalled and re-installed software
2)tried different paper
3)power downed the printer and disconnected USB cable

still it continues to say paper jam?

    Hi,

Please try checking inside the printer for any piece of paper or any other object inside the printer. Mostly this is caused due to small pieces of paper or any object in the printer. Did you try to press the cancel button and try to print?

    Hi,

After changing Outlook express as the default mail client did you try to scan to email? And after it scans what is the first window you get? About Outlook Express not being listed, it is listed as “Msimn”. Msimn is the executable file for Outlook Express.

I have the printer 922 also, and have had nothing but trouble with paper jams since day 1!  I looked inside of it today and saw that it only has a roller on the right side...Maybe it was made to only pull the paper in from the right, therefore causing paper jams!!  Why isnt the roller in the middle so that it can pull the paper in from the middle, not just the right side!! Im about to throw the piece of junk out the window!!  Does DELL make a printer that minimizes paper jams? If so please tell me which one!!  This is the second printer that I have bought from DELL that does nothing but jam! 9 out of 10 times it jams!!  I dont really want to buy another printer from DELL until I can see that it has rollers on both sides, or at least in the middle, not just on one side!!!
