Wireless Printer Adapter HELP!!!

I have a Dell AIO Printer 944 and the Wireless Printer adapter 3300 and I can not get the adapter to connect to the wireless network during the set up wizard.  The router will be sitting directly next to the adapter and it will pick up the network, but will not connect during the set up wizard.  I am pretty sure the setting are correct.  What should I do to fix it?  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I re-installed the Wireless Adapter Drivers and it still says that it cannot join the network.  Here are my router's wrieless settings:

    Security: WPA2 Personal

    Encryption: TKIP or AES

Is this why the adapter will not join the network?  What should I do??????

I am using windows xp.  I have the printer drivers and wireless adapter drivers installed.  Should I un-install all both drivers (printer and wireless adapter)?  What order should I install them in to have it work?

    Remove both of them .

Once you hae uninstalled it use the dell xp clean up utility.

    Start with wireless adapter drivers.

    Then the printer.

I did have the same problem. Did you install the printer drivers before you the wireless adapter drivers. If yes, Please uninstall all the drivers. Then start with Wireless adapter. and continue.

Which operating system are you using ??

    I don't think the 3300 supports WPA2 security.

Update the firmware in your wireless router.

Broadcast SSID  (Since you're changing security, I'd change this so you can connect easier)

Change your router security to WPA-PSK

    mixed b and g mode

use channels 1, 6 or 11. Most devices work better on these channels.

Redo the wireless printer adapter to the new security. Install the printer drivers and select network, using a wireless print server.
