I builted a Windows Media Center computer and I am trying to choose a approite projector and I really don´t know anything about what is what.

I have about $900 now to spend but what do i really need? I have the screen already.. 8ft by 5ft. So can anyone please help me and help me understand what is good and what is not.. I mean, if i can see it okay than that´s fine.. I dont really care about no hd..
