F2 key to setup, iDRAC version is 1.50.50 showing SWC0700: IDRAC is not ready ...

    Hello,

I see you have iDRAC7 initializing failed error.

Could you let me know the server model you are working with

    I'll start with these suggestion.

    Drain flea power, Clear NVRAM

    ----------------------------

drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed). After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.

    Check results.

    ----------------------------

Clear NVRAM - there is a map under the lid to show the jumper location. Shut down, Set jumper to the Clear position, power on and Post up to the jumper error, shut down and return jumper to original location.

    Check results.

    ----------------------------

Please let me know results of those steps along with the server model.

Last year I did an update for server r720, and it was working fine. What can be the cause for this ?

    Hi ,

We may not know exactly what would be the issue. At times, it could be corrupted file update.

With that, have you tried what Charles recommended?
