What's causing this is that you're jumping a huge gap in models. The chipset, video card, network controller and everything else is completely different. Unless you had loaded the GX270 drivers for all of these devices while it was still in the 110, it isn't going to boot up no matter what. Even if you had, chances are that it wouldn't boot. If you put it back in the 110 it should be alright, otherwise, at best, you are going to have to do a fresh install of Windows

At the very least you'll need to install Windows again. With a GX270 I would highly recommend Windows XP (Windows 2000 would work, but I wouldn't recommend older than that due to the inability to take advantage of the hardware's capabilities).
Only if the 110 Disk is inside the GX270. You'll also want to make sure that you have the Drivers and Utilities disc that came with the 270 or if you don't have that, download atleast the network and chipset drivers from Dell's support site before the install. This is because the Windows install disc may not have the proper drivers for the 270.

That's the thing about computers. As long as the connectors are the same, any hard disk will work in any machine. Anyway all you need for a successful reinstall of Windows is the following:
Windows Install Disc
GX270 Drivers & Utilities Disc or Chipset and Network Drivers for Dell's Site
There's a difference here between whether the hard disk will be recognised by the bios of both machines (it probably will be), as opposed to whether a disk loaded with an operating system and drivers will work in both machines without change when swapped. In the case of XP for example, it almost certainly cannot be swapped between the machines without re-installing or some arcane procedure to get the hardware re-detected......
