I just received my new 4700.  The Philips DVD 8631 included is not working correctly.  It works sometimes and not others.  It locked up when I tried to load a game and would not plan audio cds.

I downloaded the firmware and disabled sonic DLA and that helped some.  It will now play cds and I can install games, but when I try to play them, they lock up or play in slow motion.  I tried to load photoshop 7.0 and could not get through it before getting a "program not responding" message.

Can I send the DVD drive back and get another brand.  This one seems to have a lot of problems.

Your advice will be appreciated.
