Resource CD

I bought a dell Dimension without getting my resource cd. Dell technician tells me they no longer manufacture this cd for my system. Would someone with my configuration be so kind as to copy theirs for me and send it to me. I would be so very greatful for your kindness. My systen consists of the following devices. I am not sure what is on that cd so I will include the information that I think should be the same as mine:

Dimension 8300, Intel Pentium 4  3 Ghz  HT Technology

128 MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Graphics, TV-Out and DVI

Intel Pro 100M Integrated PCI NIC Card

Logitech MX 500 Optical Mouse

8x DVD+r/rw

My business address is:

Paul Alexander

Frankford Post Office

4410 Paul St

Phila  PA  19124

Thank You Very Much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

start over then, find out all the hardware you have etc, then reinstall, then install the chipset drivers first then the rest of the drivers. its very easy.

I reinstalled my operating sytem and had problems getting everything working. I think having this cd will help install all the drivers needed for my system. I am only missing this CD, never got it.

All files are online in the Download section, there is no need for a CD.

Download each of the drivers for the corresponding hardware you have.  Then install in this order, it is the order I have used for years with no problems.

    1. chipset  2. video  3. lan/nic  4. modem  5. audio  6.  system software

If you don't have a modem, then just skip it.  All of the drivers are available from the corresponding webpages for your system downloads.  Install the OS then launch the driver installs...all should be good.

I received a new hard drive from dell with all of the drivers on it. My computer is working great now. I only wished they would have done this sooner.
