Computer locks
I just bought a desktop with Windows 7 and my desktop locks after non use for several minutes and then I have to enter my password to get back to my programs. How can I adjust this feature or turn it off. The screensaver seems to work fine, but when I attempt to use the computer, I have to unlock it again.

Which specific model desktop did you buy Bill?
Have you gone through various options in Control Panel, to see if you can find one which setting might be causing this?
It might just be a power option setting, but it sounds more like a security setting somewhere?

Nothing wrong with computer . It is Inspiron desktop. I am not explaining it right. It is the Logon window you first see that gives you the option to login under your name or as a guest user. If I go away from computer for 10 minutes it goes back to login screen. I am only user, I just want to login once and stay logged in.
