Unity Sync replication connection details
Hello Team,
I am planning to set up Unity synchronous replication between my Unity storage boxes (one in remote site which is 50Km away from primary Storage) .Can you please explain me how the FC traffic converts to IP and from IP to FC back, should we have a separate switch for that ?

Unity uses Fibre Channel
for 50km it depends on your network equipment and line - you would typically use external network equipment
some customers uses DWDM concentrators that can out FC directly on a on optical link, others convert to FCIP and back to use Ethernet
