Whenever i copy and paste something off the web, if I linger for a few seconds then when I paste it i get a message saying "mx-targeting.com" with a bunch of other stuff. How do I get it to stop doing that?
The other thing is that every now and then something tries to install itself on my computer desktop called "DrTemp". Most of the times I can cancel it quick enough to stop it, but does anyone know a way to stop this from happening?
See the response to your post in Software - Windows Service Packs. It's generally not necessary to create multiple posts in multiple conferences regarding the same thing, which, in your case, is an infestation of malware.
Thanks. I did the scan and it turned out I had a massive amount of spyware on my computer. So I just went ahead and got the spyware sweeper. And it my computer is running like a mustang now.
Sorry for the double posts, didn't know the board etiquette, and when I posted the first thing, the other things weren't fresh in my mind. Anyway, thanks for your help!
That's all that matters. Multiple posts in multiple conferences regarding the same problem just make it kind of hard for people to keep track of whether your issue is resolved or not, and/or whether you're getting conflicting information, based on which post is being addressed, and by whom. In the end, it probably makes it harder for the person experiencing the problem than it does for the people responding to your posts, so keeping a particular issue restricted to one thread in one conference is probably going to be more to your advantage than ours.
