An  Avis Car Rental breach between Aug. 3 and Aug. 6 compromised the personal data of approximately 299,000 customers.

Data stolen varied by customer, but included names, mailing addresses, email addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, driver’s license information and credit card numbers.
