as I said in the title, I am unable to post a log with HijackThis. I am running version 2.0.4 of HijackThis and have performed numerous MalwareBytes, Avadira Anitvirus as well as Spybot Search and Destroy scans, and regularly immunize my computer. However, I lent my laptop to my brother for a time, so i don't know what he could have done to it...

If desired, I can take screenshots of the HijackThis log and post those instead.

Also, i get a message when starting HijackThis that tells me HijackThis cannot write to Hosts files (I am running Windows Vista Home Premium), and when right-clicking on the icon on the desktop, i cannot choose the "run as administrator" option. I know this option is not completely disabled, as i can still do it on other programs.
