Do I need to keep iSCSI connections if now only using data movers
We are retiring our VNX 5300. We are currently only using it for CIFS shares, connecting to the data movers. We historically used it for VMware storage. We have migrated the VMware storage to another platform.
In preparation for another project, I need to modify my iSCSI networks. If I disconnect the VNX from the iSCSI network, will that cause any problems? My assumption is that the data movers communicate via the SAS connections and IP network and do not communicate over the iSCSI network.
Thoughts?

which ISCSI Connections exactly ?
SP or DM ?
I would suggest to look at the VNX5300 Hardware guide to avoid uncabling ports that the system needs internally.
