Another trojan.vundo victim......help me please

Object name: c\windows\systems32\vtstr.dll

virus name: Trojan.Vundo

Action taken: unable to repair this file

Action taken: access to the file was denied.

How do I get rid of this virus?

Hi,

Trojan.Vundo is a VERY frustrating infection.

Many times it's best to start with the least evasive and safest technique. If that doesn't work you can move up the ladder to more powerful techniques.

Have you tried Symantec's Trojan.Vundo removal tool? It's free...

Hi,

Lots of people seem to have that trojan and cannot remove it with the Norton Tool.

Here are instructions I found which seem to work
