communicate

I have installed a new printer, but can't print computer says it cannot communicate with the printer, what can i do?

Did you reboot after installing the printer? FYI

Try uninstalling the printer software and reinstall. Follow the setup procedures carefully. Some printers require installing the software first and then plug in the printer, others are just the reverse.

the the printer is a lexmark Z735, windowsxp

What model of printer and computer are you talking about? Need more information in order to help.

yes, i did , i followed all the paper work, but it still will not work.
