When i try to boot to recovery console, it asks for an administrator password,i have WindowsXP home edition and was never asked to set a password. The problem is i can't boot to windows to change it via the control panel, and i already tried putting blank for the password but didn't work. Please anyone help and thanks in advance.
I can't get into safe mode either. See my previous post: error, cannot enter computer, blue screen of death!!!! (Software). I got a reply to fix my boot problem via recovery console but for that you need the password.
When you say you tried putting blank, do you mean you typed the word blank into the password box? If so that is not correct. Unless the Aministrator password was set, there isn't one: don't type anything in the password box.

I typed nothing for the password, just hit enter but didn't work. Also tried other obvious guesses. I tried doing what is written in the first link given by the previous post, but when I get to step 6 there is no option to repair and press R, you can either press Enter to install windowsxp again or press D/C to delete/create the partition. My Windowsxp sofware was delivered as a package with my pc, so it's an OEM-sofware, don't know if that's the reason. I will next try the second link.

Just a guess, but have you gone into the accounts passwords from Safe mode and set the Admin password?
Start
Run
control userpasswords2
I think if you also have admin authority, you can set this..
