Did you reformat the Hard Drive and then reinstall Windows from its origional CD from a retailer? Also, it would be helpful to know what computer you have, the Ram, Windows Version, etc.

The Windows XP installation procedure can be found HERE. The complete reinstallation guide for your 8200, including drivers and applications, is found HERE.

Please post back if you have questions after reading these guides.

    Sorry

I looked up the info. I thought you were talking about and it said

    Pentium (R) 4 CPU 1.80 GHZ

    1.79 GHZ

    256 MB of Ram

I run windows XP home edition. No, I did not format before I reinstalled Windows. I can probably figure it out though. Yes I used the disc that came with my computer. Also, I have been fooling with it and this is what I did. When I turned it on, I kept pushing F12. It asked me how I wanted to reboot. I think there were 3 options so I tried all of them. If I used the one that said Reboot from Hard Disc Drive C, it would reboot without using the disc. Is there A way I can set it to reboot like this?  Also, thank you very much for helping me. I get so agrivated sometimes, I feel like throwing it out the door.

    tommygirl25504,

When you press F12 and are given the option, select booting from the CD-ROM drive. When you do so with the XP CD in the drive, you will see "Press any key to boot from CD..." When that appears follow the procedures here and in the included links.

If your computer was made after July 15, 2004, you also have the option of restoring it to "as shipped" condition using the procedure here. It is considerably faster and more convenient that reinstalling XP.
