Install only Windows

Hello Dell Word
I want to get rid of all the non-important software, spyware, and internet stuff on my 8400.  I want to format my hard drive, but I not to sure of how to install only the operating system. What would be the best way.

    Using the Advanced Forum Search on the bottom of this page, you can quite easily find the answer to this often asked question.  Click on Product Support tab above, the Reinstall Guides.  You have to install Chipset drivers and other drivers, also you must install the SATA driver for your hard drive as is documented all over the forum.
