Installing and deleting a program & Windows Installer
I'm trying to uninstall a program but get this message "
the windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safemode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed"
Apparently I can't install a program either.
I'm NOT in safe mode and to my knowledge, the installer program has been installed and running for years.
I tried a system restore, but apparently I don't have any restore points, even though it is turned on
Can someone tell me what to do.

Just follow that page and you should get this fixed.
